Product Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity with Tow Guardian

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced manufacturing engineer with experience in component procurement, QC and the development and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities for volume production of complex products involving at least one of:

• Injection moulded parts
• PCBs
• Castings
• Machined parts
• Steel/aluminium fabrication

Who We Are

This position is with our start-up sister company—Tow Guardian—that is introducing new trailer-tow products to market. You will play a key role in establishing an assembly facility and managing PPAP.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for this role, you will have:

• At least 5 years of experience in product manufacture
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferably you will also have:

• Experience in procurement
• CAD skills
• PFMEA experience
• Database development and maintenance

Core Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Finalising procurement contracts
• Development of manufacturing equipment and cells
• PPAP, PFMEA
• Assistance in implementation of QC
