Applidyne were awarded the TIA Excellence in Innovation Award at the Technology Industry Association Awards dinner on Friday 21 October 2011. This was awarded jointly to Applidyne and Minelab Electronics for the F3 Compact Mine Detector. This class leading product was developed by Applidyne and Minelab in a team effort and has been enthusiastically received in the world market.
We wish to thank TIA, the sponsors and most of all our client Minelab who remained steadfast in their commitment to developing an excellent product rather than just a good one in the face of the many challenges associated with achieving the conflicting aims of robustness, light weight, compactness, great ergonomics and superior mine detection capability.
Applidyne Technical Director, Paul van de Loo, (centre of picture) commented that “it was a great team effort on the part of the engineers at Minelab and Applidyne who worked closely and effectively to achieve an outstanding result of which every team member can be justly proud”.
