Congratulations to our 2025 Applidyne Mechanical Engineering Design Internship winner: Dylan Worswick! We are extremely proud to be awarding Dylan with this opportunity and look forward to working with him.

“Since commencing my studies in engineering and computer science at the University of Adelaide, I have developed a strong passion for innovation and design in engineering. Throughout my studies, I have been actively involved in the Adelaide University Formula Student team (AUMT),  where I conducted CFD analysis for a front wing package and assisted with manufacturing. I have also contributed to the Adelaide University Rocketry Team, using CAD models to simulate the use of novel manufacturing techniques and materials. In 2022, I was fortunate to participate in the annual Weir Warman Design and Build Competition, where our team finished as state champions. Outside of university, I enjoy volunteering with a high school FRC robotics team, which recently competed at the World Championships in Houston. Through this role, I help support STEM education and mentor younger students through the engineering design process. I am eager to learn from the experienced team at Applidyne and look forward to my upcoming internship.” – Dylan Worswick
